EGA Dayton Ohio Chapter was formed in 1975 and is part of the Great Lakes Region. There are two EGA Dayton groups and each group meets monthly:
The Wednesday Group
meets the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., Community United Methodist Curch, 339 Meyer Avenue [at Burkhardt], Dayton OH
The Saturday Stitchers meet at 1:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month. For current location information email

The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., (EGA), formed for the express purpose of fostering the art of needlework and associated arts, is made up of 13 regions across the US and Canada and is comprised of 345 chapters, including a cyberspace chapter, with international representation among the nearly 16,000 members. EGA is a not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Louisville KY.
The mission of EGA is to stimulate appreciation for and celebrate the heritage of embroidery by advancing the highest standards of excellence in its practice through education, exhibition, preservation, collection and research.
